The word count is still under 9k, but I did write an Akutagawa sibling banter scene yesterday, and a couple days ago I finally had a breakthrough and did allllll of this planning for where this chapter is going. Basically, it's going a lot better now and I'll be doing writing sprints for a couple of weeks 🫡

oh man..sighs.....ok so im kinda worried abt sum of my piercings.. ://

sooooo. ive been paranoid abt my eyebrow piercing rejecting 4 a whiiile now..n while tbh it doesnt rly seem 2 be that case..? 1 of the holes is just constantly slightly irritated. also ive been feeling discontent abt the way it was pierced also 4 a while; i prefer snug jewerly 4 eyebrow piercings n, bc of the way mine was done, even w the smallest curves barbell ucan still see quite a bit of the metal hanging and uggghhh i love my eyebrow piercing 2 death but im just not that into that specific look..ive been looking 4 smaller jewelry (even custom 1s) since 4ever n ive had no luck:((( im seriously considering retiring the piercing n getting it redone. but im scared the scarring wud be too visible this time since i think they wud be piercing it a bit wider(?) this time, not in the same place like the last time i repierced it. i shud prob see a dermathologist 4 dat -_-;;

THEN.. my ears. they do not plague my mind as much as the eyebrow piercing lol BUUUT all the lobes + helixes r taking 4EVEEEER 2 heal its such a pain!!!!! lol dhdhdhh the issue is p much solely when i lay down. if im laying down 4 a long time while pressing down on one of the piercings w/o notices they swell up like crazy. a warm shower + saline soaks help a TON but its just....annoying lol. sometimes after i wake up from a nap or yanno just sleeping i realize not only my neck is sore from trying so hard not 2 sleep on my sides, my ears r sore as well -_- n i just cant help but think god again???? all this pain 4 naught!!(dramatic) why am i even enduring this??? I just wanna sleep peacefully!!! T-T honestly i think a big part of the issue is the fact that i pierced both my ears when the last i had pierced wasnt fully healed (i thought it was even tho only 3 months had passed..silly). tbh its one of those mistakes that ppl on the internet n reddit threads constantly warn u abt but u dont realize just how truly annoying n detrimental 2 the healing it is until u actually make the mistake. when i think its all good one of the piercings starts acting up. when that 1 calms down, another 1 gets irritated. when that 1 is under control, one of the stupid little jewelry balls gets unscrewed n i lose it and dude im out of the little balls do i just put a ring?? MISTAKE. well.

I have maths non calculator tomorrow and im good at maths but like i hate exams as anyone would yanno? but its so fuckinhg stressful omg im also grounded im not allowed to go out AT ALL i cant talk to any of my friends unless im in school and i have gigs coming up as my uncles in a band n shit and its so annoying because im left out of all of my group activities because my report was bad from last term and i need to "sort my shit out" but i really dont. i also need to apply for colleges like WHAT WhY nO and i cant find any good colleges that do a food course because i wanna be a chef and i obviously need a food course to learn to do that like duh and im not gonna get into college if my grades are FUCKED like maybe theyll give me a chance to see if i pass my exams ut if they dont i literally cant go to college unless i find a different course that accept my grades but its not my fault that my target grade is too high like its a 6-7 and im reaching a 3 rn in science and thats all 3 sciences combined (biology, physics, chemistry) LIKE UGH I DONT WANT TO GROW UP.

By now, your mocks are probably done and I apologise I wasn't able to answer this sooner to help you. I'm sure you've done the best you could for the mock exams, some grade expectations are absolute horse shit and it's really unfair for the education system to expect so much from students when they have so many different classes. Surely there's some extra credit work you could apply for?? My college offered it throughout the year to students, so maybe your school does the same?

Growing up sucks, I get it. I recently bought a car and I'm going for my restricted licence in a few weeks. Next year I'm not going to university so I need to work full time and pay rent to stay at home, probably making it harder to meet up with my friends with my hours being filled.

I completely understand why you're nervous about the future and what it brings, becoming an adult where you have to think about your life goals and such is the absolute worst, but it's necessary for development and maturity.

I hope things get better for you Bean, again I'm sorry you've been so stressed :(

ADJFHDB ur good i think its so cool when i can tell someone's going through a specific tag of mine, im flattered u like the concept & my work that much!!!! ironically up until i got this ask i hadn't thought abt that reader in canon but after some pondering i kinda fell in love with the idea n here's what i came up with.

i think she is a sorcerer! not like special grade, id put her at around nanami's level; that is to say, having achieved black flash but not Hugely powerful (have i thought abt her ability? no i do not have the brain power for that sorry kajhbdf). now in the au she n gojo r childhood friends—i don't rlly wanna apply that here, bc his childhood in canon is implied to be v heavily influenced by his status & his clan and i imagine her to have come from a non-sorcerer family (or perhaps one only vaguely involved with the society, like maybe one of her parents was one of those people who could see curses but not a sorcerer??? idk, trying to apply the low-ranking-noble thing here) but either way not someone who he would've known since an early age. however since they're the same age theyd be in the same grade in hs! so i like the idea of her going to the kyoto school, while hes at the tokyo one, and they meet at the goodwill event thing they do every year where he.....

well, in essence, falls in love right away and in classic gojo fashion decides the best way to express that is though aggressive pigtail pulling in the form of beating her ass 🙄 bc of course. so she Hates him at first, and he is Madly In Love

"Oi, Kantokusei! Wake up already" You were practically tugged awake from your sleep.

You let out a groan as you were forced to sit up straight, prying away your hands from the person in question as you rubbed sleepiness away from your eyes.

You let your eyes adjust to your surroundings, as you saw Ace open the windows of your bedroom curtains. You hissed at the sudden brightness.

"What are you doing here?" You asked incredulously.

"Less talking, more walking. Breakfast is gonna get cold." He nags, completely avoiding your question as he scoops you into his arms, carrying you bridal style.

It was useless to protest, so you let him. "You didn't answer my question." You mumble, adjusting your arms over his neck and that's when you noticed, Ace didn't have his make up on.

It was a small detail you've come to memorize, as your mind adjusted to reality or at least remember why he was here, casually playing house.

Then you remembered.

Right. There were two days left days before school starts again and it has become a routine for Ace to come back to school—to spend time with you which was as you would have guessed synonymous to annoying you.

By the time you two reached the kitchen, Grim was already finishing up his breakfast. "I gotta say Ace, that was delicious. Even my henchman can't prepare something this delicious, yanno!" He says, patting his stomach.

"Heh, thanks" Ace grins, as he settles you down the empty chair, snapping his fingers as a plate filled with tuna sandwiches hovers over the air before it lands infront of you, all the while giving Grim a pointed look.

Grim dismissively waved a hand over your direction, "Anyways, the Great Grim is gonna practice Magift. Gotta stay in shape, yanno!" He chuckles before sneaking to steal a sandwich before dashing out through the back door.

"Break a leg!" You call out, rolling your eyes before turning your attention over the plate of sandwiches.

"So, did you enjoy breakfast? Ace asks, as he helped you clear the table.

You hummed in response, taking the plates from both his hands before placing them in the sink, along with the other utensils Ace had used to make breakfast.

"You're awfully clingy today" You chuckle, feeling his arm snake around your waist as he rested his chin over your shoulder.

"Am I?" Ace hums, nuzzling his face over the crook of your neck before he let go.

"Yeah. What gives?" You purse your lips, as you turned your head to an angle, nudging your nose against his cheek.

There was a pause before Ace chuckles, "Oh, no reason."

"Anyways I'm gonna play Magift with Grim." He adds, giving your cheek a kiss, leaving you dumbfounded.

"What was that all about?" You mumble to yourself as you watched Ace's retreating figure, before you continued washing the dishes.

The rest of the day was like any ordinary day, except for the fact that whenever you would glance at Ace, he would have caught your eye and would either throw you a wink or blow you a kiss.

It really shouldn't have bothered you, but your boyfriend who wasn't inherently handsy, was looking at you as if he's been struck by cupid's love arrow, falling in love with you all over again.

Maybe it was his new way of annoying you? You wondered to yourself. You snapped out your thoughts, when you heard the bedroom door open.

Speaking of the devil

"Kantokusei, let's go on a picnic" Ace suggests, plopping over the space next to you.

"Picnic? Like? Right now?" You repeated, growing more confused by the turn of events.

"Yeah! C'mon we only have two days left before school starts, let's at least make something out of it." He gave you a lopsided grin.

If there was one thing you could describe Ace, it would have been unpredictable. Though maybe unpredictable wasn't the right word.

You knew he would have something up in his sleeve, yet you still can't believe you would get caught offguard by it.

"So? How did you know about this place?" You huffed, picking out the leaves that managed to get stuck on your hair as Ace eagerly started laying out the picnic blanket.

"My older brother told me about it! I don't know if its ideal for a picnic, but hey we'll find out for ourselves" He throws you a smile over his shoulder.

Half an hour ago, you thought that Ace had planned the picnic somewhere in the Rose Maze.

That was until, he made no signs of stopping, treading a path within the maze, before he made a detour along the bushes.

Was it all worth it? You wondered as you occasionally felt thorns graze your arms as Ace led you deeper within the bushes, until you found a clearing.

"C'mon we don't got all day" He pats the space next to him.

"Please tell me we're not going back through those bushes" You sighed, feeling your legs giving in as you took up the space next to him.

"Heh, sorry about that" Ace gave you a sheepish smile, picking out a stray rose petal that was stuck on your hair.

The picnic was, needless to say, one of the best one's you've ever had.

Ace's cherry tart was sweet, made sweeter by the fresh cherries he had brought back from the Rose Kingdom.

"So, how was it?" Ace asked, wiping the crumbs on the corner of your lips.

"It's delicious! Don't tell Trey but I think this has to be the best cherry tart I have ever tasted in a while." You smile, taking another spoonful of tart. "The cherries just melt in your mouth."

"You can never go wrong with a family recipe" Ace smiles proudly.

Time seem to past by when you're having fun as you spent a good hour talking about Ace's home country, the Rose Kingdom.

With stuffed faces, plates and utensils discarded to the side the both of you lay on the blanket, your arm loosely draped over Ace's waist as the both of you watched the sun beginning to set.

"Which reminds me" Ace starts, reaching out both of his hands outward before snapping his fingers, as light and sparks started to dance along his fingers, resembling sparklers.

Ace cheats a glance over your direction before he snaps his fingers once more, the tiny sparks began bursting into colorful heart patterns.

You stared in awe, reaching to take both his hands over yours. "How did you do that?" You looked over at Ace.

"Just a trick my brother taught me" He shrugged nonchalantly, snapping his fingers once again, igniting a spark that illuminated your face.

"Did you like our picnic date?" Ace asked, striking up a casual conversation as you two started packing up.

"I have to admit it, I never thought of you to go all out like this." You gestured, as you dusted yourself up before proceeding to fold the picnic blanket.

"Well, I did promise to take you with me during our breaks, but the Headmaster always finds an excuse to assign you to look after the school."

"So, I thought why not just bring the fun here? It took a lot of attempts to get the mini fireworks trick" Ace continues, rubbing the nape of his neck.

"But don't think too much about it, yeah? I just wanted to fulfill my promise." He added hastily, as he took the other end of the blanket, helping you fold it.

You let Ace ramble, clearly he was having his moment. Eventually silence fell on the both of you.

"Hey, Ace?" You were the first to break the silence, walking over to close the distance between the both of you.

Ace hums in response, looking over at you as you leaned over close enough that your lips brushed against his.

"I love you" you whispered before pulling him in for a thank you kiss.

It would have been the first time you've said those three words, as the two of you pulled away from each other, catching your breaths.

Did I really say that? Was this the right time to say it? Or was it at the heat of the moment? Should I take it back? What if Ace doesn't say it back? Your thoughts were in a frenzy.

Though you worry was all for a naught as Ace pulls you in for another kiss, "I can't believe you beat me to it."

Honestly, one of the biggest things I did to become more extroverted was to,, sort of fake it? Fake it till I make it, basically. Even if I was apprehensive about people bc I was scared of saying the wrong thing or of them finding me annoying, I just tried to emulate or fake the confidence, if only to introduce myself or say hi? Just enough to get me through the gate and start a conversation with someone. From there, the more comfy I grew with the person and with talking with others, the less I had to fake it tbh.

This one can vary in effectivity, but in my experience finding a good friend group really helps. Finding myself a good group of friends that validated my opinions, didn't mind if i didn't feel like speaking, and encouraged me to share my ideas when I did speak honestly did leagues of improvement when it came to my confidence in speaking.

Or! If a whole friend group is too intimidating, maybe find just one extrovert, say hi to them, see if you two vibe, and if you’re chill with each other, build a friendship ? As an extrovert, I can safely say that a substantial amount of extroverts love adopting introverts, especially the talkative ones? Like, the ones who’ll talk to you even if you don’t have much to say, and always make you feel included in conversations.

Finding people who share the same interest in you is also a solid way to find some people to converse with! When you talk about things you mutually like, usually, you feel less conscious about messing up, and you focus more on the enjoyment of finding someone who you can talk to freely!!

Super short but vv important, but don’t be scared to put yourself out there, if you’re comfy with it!! Approach people who you’ve seen are friendly or safe (vv important rn when most communication is done online where there can be shady strangers) and try to get to know them! It might not always work out, but finding someone like an fun extrovert or a healthy friend group to adopt you will be worth it in the end!

While filming season 1 of obx drew was one of the first people you got close with dont get me wrong you were friends with everyone and close with everyone but you and Drew’s friendship was a bit more then the others, you noticed how in the first month of filming season one Drew got a little flirty complimenting you every chance you got “wow that dress looks beautiful on you” which always led to you blushing. By the third month of filming he would open doors for you and always offering his water to you.

6 months into coming you guys held hands hugged and cuddled. In public the people who didn’t know you guys thought y’all were dating but you were not you never went on dates and he never asked you to be his girlfriend. Of course you hung out outside of filming but it was mostly with the group every now and then you two would go out alone.

Currently you were on set filming season 2 you had already done your scenes for the day but decided to stay back just in case they needed you to help or, or help madelyn take pictures and funny videos for tomfoolery, “hey did I show you the photo of Drew I took this morning in the trailers?” Madelyn asked after taking a photo of the sunset with the silhouettes of the pogues in the background looking like shadows “no, but now you said it I need to see it” you said she handed her camera over flicking to the photo and there it was Drew practically passed out in his breakfast burrito “oh my god that is gold he isn’t living that down ever”

Who isn’t living what down?” The man who uses a burrito as a pillow muses at you “oh nothing dearest drewseph” Maddie said laughing and putting her camera away “how was your day?” You asked calming down from laughing so hard you barely saw him today “it was good I missed my lady around, oh did you drink enough water? And eat? I know how you get when you don’t eat food” Drew reprimanded but sweetly you rolled your eyes “yes Drew I ate food dont worry they beast is in hibernation from a food coma” you said Maddie and Drew laughed “ok good we don’t need you to break another window” Maddie said remembering how you were starving you all were but you had it the worst and were so mad at Rudy and chase for messing around you punched a window and broke it then immediately apologized for breaking a window and said you were just really hungry Austin walked to you and literally shoved a hamburger in your mouth and you were so quiet for 20 mins while you at his hamburger feeling so much better ever since then everyone makes sure you ate so you don’t end up splitting them in half.

“Yeah yeah I’ve gotten a lot better” “yeah because we all remind you to eat or shove food in your face” jonas walked over to the three of you “hey guys so we just need the pogues for the rest of the day so it’s a wrap on you guys if you wanted to go and stuff” Jonas said and walked off quickly to direct what’s happening next “I was thinking of going out to this lake where you can rent paddle boards and canoes and stuff, do y’all wanna come?” Drew asked “yeah that sounds like fun I’ve never been paddle boarding before” “I would but I promised I would help out around with everything you guys have fun tho” Maddie said you guys said goodbye and hopped into a car.

Once you arrived you immediately took a picture of the view because it was so beautiful “Drew this is beautiful, how did you find this?” You asked amazed “aww yanno just some tourist site thing” you walked up to the people at the booth for the paddle boards once you got the paddle boards you and Drew started to paddle in the lake “so am I your lady or is there a secret women I need to know about?” You asked Drew laughing “oh it’s definitely you but i dont know one of the set members dog looked really good today” you both bursted out laughing “you’re such an idiot” “oh yeah well can an idiot do this?” Drew questioned before throwing himself off the paddle board and doing a flip landing perfectly into the water.

“No I guess an idiot can’t do that, you’ve proved me wrong starkey im quite impressed” you said clapping for him “good because I’ve actually never done that before and just hoped it would look cool not gunna lie I was trying to impress you” Drew said getting slightly red “well you’ve succeeded tremendously” you said you guys continued talking and paddle boarding deciding to race you lossed tho because you fell into the water.

“Drew look at the view it’s soo pretty oh my god” you said taking out your phone and snapping a bunch of photos you stopped when you heard a camera shatter and looked at your phone confused since you put your silencer on so it wouldn’t disrupt your time with Drew you looked over and Drew is looking at his phone smiling then he showed you the photo it was of you in the paddle boat taking a photo of the view “should I post this and be basic and caption it “she thought the view was pretty but I thought she was prettier” ?” Drew asked making your laugh “oh of course I’m trying to turn you into a white girl that should be the first step” you said you sighed “thank you for saying I’m pretty” you blushed and looked down at your reflection in the lake you guys paddle board was side by side so it was easy for him to take his hand to your chin and make you look at him “youre so welcome, honestly you’ve made this whole experience so great and I just want to tell you that I love you a lot and uh do you want to officially be my lady?” You laughed but said yes and you guys kissed it got a little heated because of all the sexual tension that had been built up you had tongues in each other’s mouths your hands in his hair and his on your bare hips on of the paddle boards almost flipped “maybe we should head back to set, also we took the only car for them to get home in” you suggested drew nodded not being able to form words and off to set you went.

When you arrived you saw everyone waiting all in their normal clothes “dudes did you really kidnap my car?” Austin asked “I wouldn’t say “kidnap” I just borrowed it” drew said air quoting kidnap “whatever you’re not riding shot gun for that and neither are you Y/N” Austin said getting in the drivers side you shrugged “SHOTGUN” chase belted out him and JD made eye contact and JD touched the handle first and sat down “gotta be quicker then that” JD said to chase you rolled your eyes and got in the back Drew got in right after you and you both intertwined your hands together the rest piled into the car and off you went to the apartment buildings.

Once you got on the highway JD plugged his phone in the aux and played music Rudy, chase, and both maddies were singing so loudly you got a lot of confidence from no where and unbuckled your seat belt and straddled Drew’s lap “what are you doing?” He questioned wide eyed “you’ll see just go with it” you mumbled and then started to lean in he surprised you when he met you half way and you continued what you had stopped at the lake his hands were squeezing your ass making you want to moan but you didn’t and you tugged on his hair “uh guys ? Can you like I don’t know maybe not do that?” Rudy questioned looking at you guys he was seated right next to drew one of Drew’s hands moved from your ass and waving off rudy. His hand immediately went back to where it was you felt everyone’s eyes on y’all now Rudy groaned annoyed “Ok you can borrow my car from now on” Austin said chase turned the song louder hoping you would stop Madelyn and Madison laughed you heard Madison say “that explains his insta photo she said showing everyone that he did in fact post it madelyn decided to take a picture and video recording “hey guys you gonna come up for air? She asked you just flicked her off you could hear the video replaying “dude this is gunna be so good for tomfoolery”

You guys pulled up to the apartment but you wouldn’t know cause you were still making out with Drew his hands in your shirt this time and you leaving slight hickies on his neck then going back to his lips and pulling his hair making him lean to the side so you can get better accesses chase turned around when no one got out of the car “yo love birds we are here” chase called but you still didn’t move Madison giggled “wow” Madelyn pulled her phone out again and recorded knowing the look on Rudy’s face meant he was about to do something funny “ok that’s it” Rudy stated frustration obviously on his face and tone because he was squished two on one of his side and then both the maddies to his left side keeping him from getting out of the car “I’m fucking hungry and squishedl” he complained turning towards you and drew who were still kissing you felt a hand on your forehead and then suddenly you were being pulled apart from Drew you opened your eyes to see the same was being done with Drew you moved your eyes from Drew’s to Rudy who was literally pulling you apart by your face “we are here it’s time you stop so I can get out” Rudy said his tongue out so he can focus on pulling you apart once he was satisfied he looked at you since you were closest to the door “now get out so I can get out and get food before I lose my shit” you got out and thought drew would follow but he wasn’t fast enough for Rudy’s liking “oh fuck it” Rudy said before climbing over Drew’s lap and then running to his and chases apartment door.

And Keeping up with work is kinda out of My skillset, I really Dont wanna be no buzzkill about friends but- I'm really scared that they're gonna hate me when I go back, or that they've forgotten about me. I just feel as if I was nobody to them, I've only had two people consistently be there for me and I love them dearly for trying so hard to Accommodate someone as Negative as me, Who can't even take a compliment without getting annoyed. But they didn’t, that’s a real friendship.

It’s really hard for me to give advice on something like this because quarantine has really been a pain for all of us, getting back into the swing of things is going to be difficult. I know that much. I think the best you can do is keep your head up high, even if things seem bad. Don’t force yourself to become social and stuff, it’s not easy to just go back to that after being gone for so long.

I have to agree with Hiyoko, dealing with going back to public space after being quarantined for a long time seems very drastic. And by drastic, I mean that it really shouldn’t be happening because everyone can still be at risk.

But I’m not a school administrator, I have no say, although I wish I did. I hope that you take the time to pace yourself with the work, I know it’s out of your skillset but it’s never a good thing to force yourself to do work or to worry so much about it. Burn out is one of the worst feelings, I talk from experience.
